Walking up the stairs near my place one afternoon, I noticed a Husky dog behind me. I kept going but the dog passed me and then stopped in front of me. I stopped to take a breath.

“Sorry,” said a voice behind me. “He’ll move when I catch up to him.”

I said to the woman behind me, “No worries. I like dogs.”

By now, she was close to the dog. Seeing his owner, the dog started moving again.

“So it’s you move, he moves,” I said.

The woman laughed and she continued her way with the dog beside her.

I then spotted Pepe in the distance. I got home, changed my shoes and went for a walk. I stopped in front of Pepe and said hello but she ignored me. Like the GTC, she burns hot and cold. But she did let me stroke her. She just didn’t seem to be in the mood for rubbing up and down against me, which is what she often likes to do. Temperamental puss.
