Art Gallery Dog
January 6th 2010 21:00
Spotted outside the NSW Art Gallery one Sunday morning was one cute dog (see photo). While I avoid people at all costs, I cannot resist the urge to interact with four legged beings. I went over and patted the dog. It was pleased and let me continue patting it. I went on patting it for about five minutes before I decided it was time to go. I started to move away but it let out a pitiful howl so I went back to give it more pats. I looked at its name tag and noticed there was the name Mr Jones and a phone number engraved on it. Was Mr Jones the name of the dog or the owner?
I gave the dog more pats before I decided to go as I now had things to do. The dog started to howl again. I knelt in front of it and said, “I have to go now.” I started to go for real. The dog looked at me and I kept looking back at it until I had to cross the road.
