Butterscotch Drapes Himself Over Brett’s Bed Frame

Several posts ago I posted some photos of cats sleeping in odd areas. I had never seen this in real life. All the sleeping cats I had seen liked to curl up into a ball and sleep on their owner’s bed or lounge. This was until a few nights ago, that is. Look at my baby, draped over Brett’s bed frame.
Brett and I oohed and aahed over his cuteness. Normally Butterscotch and Gingersnap go for comfort. So they will sleep near the heater, on the bed, in a basket or the lounge. Sleeping outside or in cold places is out of the question. So what on earth made Butterscotch decide to sleep in such an odd spot? It doesn’t look at all comfortable. Or, in the case of certain people, beautiful.
I had this picture open on my PC one day and I heard someone say, “That’s disgusting.” I turned around and saw a cat-hating colleague standing beside me. I wanted to tell her that beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder and what is disgusting to her is wonderful to me but she had already gone by the time I was ready to respond.
