Butterscotch’s new Admirer

My friend Karina was in town. Being the hospitable person that I am, I let her have first choice as to where to have dinner. She suggested the Arun Thai restaurant in Potts Point. I had no objections since it is my favourite restaurant.
Halfway through our meal I pulled out one of my favourite photos of Butterscotch. I put it near my plate.
“My husband,” I explained.
“He’s so cute,” said Karina. It’s about time someone else apart from me and Brett noticed his beauty. So far, all I have heard from other people is that he is “one ugly cat” and “has a dirty stare”. The best I have gotten is a giggle when I did the same thing at another dinner.
I showed Karina that photo a couple of times that night. Each time she responded with, “He’s cute.” Of course he is. And not just cute. Try handsome, gorgeous, breathtaking, stunning…
