Cat Fancy Digital Back Issues

Missed the latest issue of Cat Fancy magazine? No worries. Simply purchase a digital edition from their website for a fraction of the price. And unlike the hardcopy, you don’t have to worry about accidentally damaging the pages or the magazine going mouldy. As soon as you’ve paid for it, it is available for you to download as a PDF file. What’s the catch then? They omit the kitty poster.
Any regular reader of this magazine will know there a lovely centrefold of the featured breed in each issue. It opens up as a double paged poster with two other photos on the other side.
I suspected this would be omitted from the digital edition but I wanted to purchase one issue just to see what it would be like. The other alternative would be to purchase an old issue from EBay or Amazon Marketplace. The problem is that the dealers I have found ask for about US $10 per back issue (not including postage and handling). Compare this to the cost of a digital copy which is US $4.50. You do the sums. I’m going to go back to admiring the lovely Singapura cat that is on the cover of the August 2007 edition HERE.
