Caterpillar Sting

I’ve got to warn my caterpillar-loving friend Fred about this: caterpillars are not always nice and furry to touch.
I’m a caterpillar phobic so I will have to take Fred’s word when he says how soft they are to touch. My sister would beg to differ. Yesterday, while doing her recycling, she felt her hand brush against something bristly. Her hand started to sting and she jerked it away, wondering what the…? She looked down and saw a grey caterpillar near one of the bins. My sister screwed up her face. She looked at her hand and noticed a red rash appearing. She went to the chemist and the pharmacist told her which creams to buy to stop the itching and swelling. My sister then spent the rest of the day feeling grumpy. She even tried to brush her hand against mine but I moved away from her.
“Don’t you share your caterpillar germs with me!” I shrieked.
