Last year, I noticed Calendar Club didn’t set up shop until later than expected. As usual, I went crazy, buying as many cat calendars as I could afford. I was looking at a kitten one when I noticed that, even though it had been marked down, it was still three dollars more expensive than the puppy equivalent. They were made by the same company and had the same theme and design. The only thing that was different was the animals featured.
When I asked the sales person about the price differences, he scanned them and said the prices were correct according to his records. When I asked him why the kitten one was more expensive, he said, “The cat ones always are a few dollars more. I don’t know why. I just know they are.”
Catism! I thought as I decided to buy a different calendar.
