I got this idea one night after eating one of those microwavable meals that come in a plastic bowl. At the time I was working twelve hour days so by the time I got home I had enough time to have dinner, shower and then have a quick read before going to bed and starting the whole routine again.
So I had finished my meal and left the bowl on the floor, intending to put it in the recycling bin later on.
The next day I awoke to the sound of something scratching around. I looked around and there was my bowl, complete with at least twenty cockroaches. What a perfect way of getting rid of cockroaches. If you’re a Buddhist like my mum you can take the container outside and release the cockroaches. Non-Buddhist me chose to kill them instead. All I had to do was spray them with insecticide. Trapped with no where to go, the cockroaches carked it in a few seconds. I then tossed them into the toilet and flushed them away.
