It was that day: The day when Kevin Rudd got the boot and Julia Gillard came into power.
“Does that mean we’re rudderless?” asked someone at work.
“No, we’ve now got gills,” came someone else’s reply.
I sat there laughing while I was celebrating the moment: It was about time we got a female PM.
