Flea Bags

My poor boys now have fleas. When Brett told me, I was instantly concerned. I could imagine these little fleas sitting on the back of their necks, annoying both cats incessantly.
“I have to put some special liquid on the back of their necks. That’s supposed to help them go away for a short while but to get it done properly, I need to take them to the vet,” said Brett. I was about to ask him when this was going to happen when he said, “I will try and do it tomorrow…No, I will do it tomorrow.”
What’s with the wishy washy behaviour? Of course, they have to go to the vet ASAP. Does he think he can put this off while my babies are being made to suffer?
Speaking of fleas, my ex-neighbour likes to buy these red flea collars for her cats to wear. They have a Christmas-y look to them, especially during the festive season so people often mistake them for novelty collars. I have read that flea collars don’t work but for the three years or so that I spent with her cats, I never noticed a single flea on either of them.
