I wanted to cry when I came across this book:
Give a Cat a Home book
There’s nothing like an emotional title to tug my heart strings and to make me feel guilty for not taking in a stray. To make me feel even guiltier, there was a companion volume for dogs.
That leads me to my best friend Andrea. She has always had cats and I assumed she bought them from the local pet shop. It was only a few days ago that I found out she took in strays. I thought it was wonderful she was doing her bit to help the unwanted companion animal population. Same goes for my friend Brett. He’s always given a home to strays and shelter cats. Too bad Andrea had to stop after her children were born as they are both allergic to cats.
