Happy Rudy

Watching this video was like seeing one of my favourite fantasies come true: The simplicity of seeing a cat wash his face. And not just any cat but a breathtakingly beautiful one. Of course I’m biased because Rudy is the same breed as my favourite boys.

Speaking of boys, the term has crept into my conversations with Brett. He has been spending a lot of time with his nephews lately so I haven’t seen Butterscotch or Gingersnap for several weeks.

“How are the boys?” I asked him.

“Good,” he said. “They run away from me.”

Just to ensure there was no misunderstanding, I said, “I mean the feline boys.”


“Yeah, I know what you’re talking about.”
