Higgins and Miggins were Saved from the Pet Shop

About nine or ten years ago my ex-neighbour’s daughter had a cat that she had failed to get desexed. As the facts of life go, the cat became pregnant and gave birth to some kittens. My neighbour managed to find homes for all the kittens except two of them. She and her daughter decided to ask the local pet shop if they would take them. They said yes so they delivered them to the pet shop shortly afterwards.
The next day, both mother and daughter had regrets. In the end, my ex-neighbour was so bothered by their actions that she decided to take the kittens back and provide a home for them herself. They have been with her ever since and she has never regretted taking them back.
