I Used to Hate This cat

Ahhh…the joys of spring cleaning. As I am slowly getting rid of stuff (my goal is to dispose, recycle or donate to charity at least one item per week), I uncovered this book.
This was one of my favourite books when I was a child. It centres around an elderly woman who becomes fond of a stray cat, much to her Sheepdog’s dismay. I remember absolutely hating the cat as a child. It looked so sinister and I couldn’t blame the Sheepdog for feeling jealous. I would have felt the same way if I was in his shoes.
