I’m Watching you

Butterscotch has started to watch Brett when he showers. My baby will sit there while Brett cleans himself. Brett will look at him and Butterscotch won’t respond. But if Brett sticks his arms out in front of his face, Butterscotch will perceive this as an invitation to fight and he will stick his paws out, ready to have a tug and war with Brett. His courage is amazing; Brett must be at least ten times his size. On the other hand, Brett doesn’t come with sharp teeth or claws.
For such a feisty cat, Butterscotch can be amazingly sooky when it comes to his own species; Gingersnap will pick a fight with him and Butterscotch will run off, howling away. How come humans are fair game and felines aren’t? If only I could speak cat so I could learn the secret…
