I’ve Finally Claimed my Prize

I finally got my Birds of Paradise book. The trouble was, it must weigh at least a kilo. I then bought a book about Sylvia Plath. Armed with the book that I was currently reading and it felt like I was lugging a tonne of books on me all day long. I was so relieved to get home where I could carefully place them down before spending the rest of the night perusing them. The BOP book is wonderful and well worth the $99 I spent getting it.


I’ve got to admit, I’m getting bored with reading books about cats. They tend to repeat themselves and why shouldn’t they when most of them are about cat maintenance. That said, I haven’t finished reading all my cat biographies. That should be a nice change. Maybe I should write one about Butterscotch and Gingersnap.

Maybe you should, they are such great names. The BOP book sounds quite wonderful, enjoy every illustration and keep on going back to look some more, you'll notice different things each time

Hi Katyzzz, the only trouble with writing a book is Butterscotch and Gingersnap haven't done anything out of the ordinary like Dewey the lbrary cat or Caspar the commuting cat so I think people would find their antics cute but not necessarily ground breaking.

The BOP book is wonderful. I keep it carefully wrapped up. I love looking at the drawings of their courtship rituals.
