Jetoy Heat Packs
May 16th 2011 21:00
Jetoy, the Korean stationery company has decided to move into homewards. I recently picked up these hot packs from Zakka House in Sydney’s Chinatown. I had no idea what they were but I decided to buy them just for the designs. I thought they actually were ice packs, you know, things you can freeze and use to put against your head. (I’ve actually got one with a dolphin design.) It wasn’t until I asked the girl behind the counter that I found out what they were. Inside the plastic bubble is a metallic disc. Once the disc is pressed, it reacts with the liquid inside, causing the bubble to heat up. Perfect! I could use them to warm my hands while walking to work during those lonely winter mornings that are only just around the corner…
