Leaping Through the air
December 5th 2011 21:00
Part of the beauty of daylight saving means being able to come home from work in daylight instead of in darkness. I now spend my evenings hanging out with the GTC.
There I was, reading a book on the stairs near her hang out. I swore she was not around when I first sat down. A page or two later, I turned around only to be greeted by her regal form. How could she have crept up so silently behind me?
I took some photos of her before she moved away. She looked up at the ledge she now likes to sit. I watched as she took a leap. Her paws gripped the top of the ledge like someone about to lose their grip. She then propelled herself and sat on the ledge. If she struggled with making a one foot jump, it makes me wonder how Butterscotch managed to leap two metres in order to sit on top of Brett’s kitchen cupboard.
