Leave me Alone!

I love to power walk to the city, where I work and shop. Not only do I save money on public transport, I get to keep fit and to avoid people so I can be in my own little world and reflect on things. I feel so much calmer when I arrive at work now that I no longer have to be packed like a sardine on the hot, smelly train; breathing in other people's B.O. and watching someone pick their nose.
So I get annoyed whenever someone makes smart remarks such as 'Slow down, slow down', 'In a hurry, are you?' or worse, 'Hurry, hurry' which sounds like the person is mocking me.
I normally bite my tongue and pretend to be mute. Having Aspergic tendencies means mutism comes very easily to me. The goal of many Aspergians is to be left alone.
But inside, I feel like saying, 'What's it to you?' or 'Mind your own business.' Why do people feel to inclined to comment on things that have nothing to do with them? Are they so bored out of their mind they need to go out of their way to pester others?
I mean, you'll never see someone who is jogging in the park say so someone who chooses to stroll, 'Chill out!'
My therapist thinks people who make the above smart comments are lonely and want to interact with strangers, but are going the wrong way about it. I beg to disagree: I think they are unintelligent beings who simply need to get a life.

I think your therapist is right. As for me, I've already got a life, what I need is some friends and a relationship with a man.
I'm not doing very well, that way, I'm afraid.

Finding a partner is hard too. If you go to clubs or bars usually you meet dodgy types. I've tried meeting men though friends of friends except all the good ones are taken. My neighbour even set me up on a blind date but the guy thought it was funny to rile cats up so that was the end of that.
