Let’s Just put the cat in the bin

I am sure that if the feline population could read, they would be yowling in protest at this shameless abuse of one of their relatives. I’m sure Butterscotch would be HERE:
Working away on Tuesday morning, I looked up to find a couple of colleagues talking about a bin.
“Did you see that? She put it in the bin,” I heard one of them say.
“What are you guys talking about?” I asked, looking up at the TV. Before they could answer, I was confronted by CCTV footage of a woman named Mary Bale who was putting a cat in the bin.
“She was even stroking it,” laughed my colleague.
“Why would you put a cat in the bin?” I asked before adding, “I wish someone would put her in the bin.”
“She wouldn’t fit,” chuckled my colleague. “Did you see how well built she was?”
Incredibly, police say they cannot charge the woman as no crime had been committed. Would they be saying the same thing if it had been a human baby?
