Library Phobia
June 27th 2012 21:00
After being harassed by the racist a*sshole a few days ago, I have developed a phobia of my local library as plenty of weirdos like to go there. I would avoid the place at all costs now if it wasn’t for the fact I get to read my favourite magazines for free and my new workplace has blocked the Orble web site meaning I have to update my blog elsewhere. And after catching a virus on my memory stick, the internet cafes near my place are now to be avoided even more than the library.
The amount of pathetic human behaviour I see here is astounding. While I am writing this, a man hogs a computer terminal just so he can chat to his friend. He’s been here for half an hour and hasn’t even used the computer. Meanwhile, a homeless man was waiting to use it. When he asked him how long he would be, the computer hogger simply laughed and said he hadn’t even started using it. Why the homeless man simply didn’t make a complaint to the library staff I would never know. I just can’t believe how someone can be so inconsiderate. That said, I half expected the homeless man to go off at him. I felt myself tense as he sounded far from happy. But in the end, he chose to wait it out and grabbed another computer five minutes later.
I should upgrade my smartphone so that I can get hook it up to my home computer so I can work on my blog from home. This is just ridiculous.
