It’s been over a month since Borders has closed and I hate to admit it, but life goes on.

At first it felt weird not having a Borders to go to. In fact, I would still go to Chatswood or Bondi Junction Westfield just to have a look at the old Borders site. They are covered with large wooden boards so you can’t see inside. What a shame.

I thought I must have been only Borders nut around but during my last shopping expeditions there I found two ladies who told me how much they loved Borders and would go to all the suburban stores to score some last minute bargains until the only store left was the Bondi Junction one was. I didn’t ask where they lived but I wish I had because I would have liked to have known how far they travelled.

All I’ve got is the bookcase and paraphernalia. Fred is coming over this weekend to help me put it up.
