Missing Photos

June 9th 2010 21:00

This is tragic: three times my photos have gone missing when I’ve gone to collect them from my local photo lab. On one occasion, one photo was missing from the pile. On the other two occasions, the entire pile was missing.

I always tell the staff to look for pictures of cats and/or a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes. The cats are Butterscotch and Gingersnap. The guy in question is Brett. Armed with this information, it does not take the staff long to locate them. I mean, how many customers would be printing off pictures of cats? Not many I guess.

Another time, I had turned up to collect my photos after the specified time and it turned out my photos had not been filed away. The girl behind the counter turned around and grabbed a pile of photos out of a huge stack and handed them to me. Yep, they were the right ones. It helps that I almost always print out the same photos whenever I get them developed. The staff there probably have Butterscotch and Gingersnap’s faces engraved on their memory.
