Neglect

Brett has been working on a huge project for one of his clients. Naturally this requires long hours. Being a responsible pet parent, Brett asked his teenage nephew to cat sit until the project is completed. So far so good. So what’s the problem?
It’s the kitty litter. Brett’s nephew won’t have a bar of it. While he is happy to feed and entertain and keep my favourite boys inside, he refuses to change the kitty litter. After four days of this, Brett had had enough. He changed the kitty litter himself, complaining about the pong.
I couldn’t help thinking, if it stinks to you, imagine how much it stinks to the cats, who have far better nasal senses than humans have.
