Noisy Miggins
November 15th 2011 21:00
My ex-neighbour’s cat, Miggins has become very vocal after the demise of his beloved brother, Higgins.
“It’s as if after years of being bossed around, he can now feel free to express himself,” said Fred.
I was amazed by the transformation; I had not seen Miggins for about a year and there he was, miaowing several times. I buried my face in his fur like I used to do when I lived in my ex-neighbour’s building. I noticed the fur had a clean smell and that it didn’t smell of tuna, unlike Brett’s cats.
Although he was timid at first, it didn’t take him long to recognise me. At first he hid under the table but later on he crawled into his cat bed and started vocalising in my favourite language.
