Now who Said Cats Can’t do Anything?

Spotted: One groovy DJ cat card in the window of Opus, a cards, gifts and homewares store in Paddington.
That stopped me in my tracks. I took a photo before going inside in search of the card. I looked through the cards section three times with no luck. I then asked a salesperson where that particular card was. He went in search of it, also with no luck.
“That’s a new one. We only got it yesterday which was when I put it in the window. I can’t believe it sold out that quickly,” said the salesperson. Neither could I. I never knew cat cards were so popular. That said, this was Paddington, a suburb adjacent to Darlinghurst, Sydney’s Nightclub Central district.
“I’ll get it out for you and put a different card in the window.”
After handing over $5, it was mine.
