One Lovely Book Cover

December 8th 2009 21:00

Shopping one day, I found this book in the bargain binHERE.

Drawn by the glorious black cat on the cover, I picked it up and flicked through the pages, skimming as I did. I thought about buying it even though it wasn’t my cup of tea. It looked liked a medieval fantasy. I prefer novels that are set in the contemporary world. A quick skim seemed to indicate the cat didn’t play a large part in the story. Another set back. The third set back was my ever growing library.

Still, I did what most guilty shopaholics do and went for a walk. I came back and the book was still in the bargain bin just as it was still on my mind. To be honest, I wanted it for the cover. In the end, temptation won. What the heck, I thought, it’s only $3.95. If I don’t like the book I can always frame the cover.
