Oops! The Cat Farted.

Do cats fart? I swore Butterscotch farted the other night. There I was, sitting with Brett and Butterscotch when I noticed this smell wafting by. It smelt like cat poo but we were nowhere near the kitty litter tray.
“Did he fart?” I asked Brett.
“No.”
“I had a friend at school and he said his cat used to fart all the time. Or maybe it was the dog.”
“Butterscotch does not fart.”
“Well, I just smelt something and it smelt like a cat fart.”
Brett stills insists that his cats do not fart but I swear Butterscotch did and still does. After all, if mammals such as humans can fart, it only stands to reasons that other mammals such as cats, can.
