Oscar the cat

Can I be maudlin here? With all the recent press coverage devoted to Oscar, the cat who is able to predict when someone is about to die,

it made me think about how I would like to die. Obviously, most of us won’t have any say on the matter but if we could choose how to spend our final days, who or what would we spend it with?
As usual, animals weren’t far from my mind. If I could choose how I would die, I would like to die in my sleep, like my grandma did at the ripe old age of 86. But just before that happens, I would like to have Butterscotch and Gingersnap lie on me and purr at me while I am lying in bed, mentally preparing to say goodbye to the world. If I had to go to hospital, I would definitely love to have a cat like Oscar come to say goodbye to me.
