Spooked!

Things were going good between me and my virtual friend. She even started emailing me photos of her cats. She told me there were more to come. Then all of a sudden…nothing. I decided to ask Brett if he knew what was going on. He hadn’t heard anything from her so after a few days of no contact, I decided to bite the bullet and ask her.
“Unless you ask her, you won’t know,” said Fred when I asked for his advice. “All you’re doing is playing mental chess.”
She emailed back to say someone started harassing her so she has pulled down her Facebook wall and photos. I felt sad after hearing that as obviously the experience was traumatic enough to make her wary of other people and cut down her communication with me. And we had a nice cat-friendship going for a short while…It’s her birthday soon. I’ll email her then to ask if she is okay - that’s if Brett doesn’t give me an update first.
