Spying on the Samoyed
December 7th 2010 21:00
The secret’s out: Apparently the dog-hating Fred is now a dog-lover.
Armed with our stash of goodies (see previous post), I decided to walk Fred back to his place. On the way, we spotted a Samoyed pup in a car. To my surprise, Fred and I simultaneously pulled out our cameras and started taking photos. The pup came up to the window and wagged its tail.
“If they could only stay that small,” sighed Fred as he took more photos.
“I thought you hated dogs,” I said, mystified.
“I do but this one is small and cute.”
That reminded me of my sister’s comment about ducks: She wishes they would stay duckling size as they are easier to handle. Plus their poos are smaller.
Maybe Fred can be converted to liking dogs after all…

The small poo argument is compelling - I hadn't thought of that before.

Sounds like size and looks are the main stopping points. Those might be the easiest to overcome with so many breeds of all sizes!
That is a cute Samoyed. I agree - the ears really help make the picture. The way the ears stand up on his small head like that, almost looks like a cartoony dog which just makes him even more cute.
