Looking for the GTC one morning, I spotted a cat hiding behind the gate. She turned around and sniffed my toe. I then reached out to stroke her but she turned and went behind the gate again, safe from prying strangers like me. I was then presented with her rump. And what a big rump it was! With just the touch of the smallest stump, it looked liked a rabbit’s from behind. I then felt pity for her, wondering how she lost her tail. Was it the result of an accident? Injury? Did someone abuse her or did she simply need to get her tail amputated due to medical reasons?
I’ve been looking for her and I have not seen her since. Meanwhile, I ran into the GTC today. She was curled up asleep behind the same fence, presenting me with her big fat black rump complete with matching tail.
