The Black Lab Outside Tiffany
August 4th 2009 21:00
Strolling around Sydney’s Martin Place one weekend, it wasn’t until I came across this black Lab outside Tiffany that I realised how seldom are dogs seen in the CBD.
I approached the dog. It looked friendly so I took some photos of it. I was going to give it a pat when it started barking like crazy. Assuming I had gotten too close for comfort, I moved away. The dog continued to bark and a security guard who was inside the store looked through the window. Seeing it was just me and the dog, he looked away.
Then, all of a sudden, the dog stopped barking. Deciding now the barking had nothing to do with me, I decided to make a second attempt for a pat. This time the dog wagged its tail frenetically. I turned around and there was the owner. Darn! It was too late to get a pat without asking for the owner’s permission first.
