The Feel of Cat Puke

Wandering around Brett’s house one night, I needed to use the bathroom. I couldn’t be bothered to turn on the hallway light as I could clearly see my way to the bathroom – or so I thought.
I stepped towards the bathroom and my foot landed in something squishy. At first, I thought it was wet cat food as that was what it felt like. I turned on the light and saw a brown wet pile full of small chunks of meat. Yep, it was cat puke.
After cleaning myself up in the bathroom, I told Brett about the cat puke. He said “Great” before he cleaned up the mess.
We weren’t sure which of his cats was responsible for the cat puke but I figured it was Gingersnap as I had seen him eating earlier on. Funny how neither Brett or I heard the vomiting. One of my ex-neighbour’s cats used to make retching sounds when he was regurgitating. It used to upset my neighbour a lot because she didn’t want him to get sick. Fortunately for her, her cats only seemed to get 24 hour bugs.
