The GTC’s new Hang out
May 6th 2010 21:00
Walking home one afternoon, I spotted a feline in the grassy area at the opposite side of the stairs where the GTC normally hangs out. I was about to keep going when it occurred to me that the cat was the GTC.
I made my way back down the stairs and slowly approached the cat. Yes, the markings were all the same so it was definitely her and not her lookalike who hangs out at a building near the stop of the stairs.
I looked at her. She looked back at me. I miaowed and she miaowed back. I watched her for several moments before heading home.
Since then, I have seen her there another time. I’m glad the GTC is exploring the neighbourhood. Unlike the people loving Butterscotch and Gingersnap, I don’t fear for her safety as she has a reputation for biting and scratching people, if the numerous stories about negative encounters with this cat I have heard from passers-by is any indication.
