The Hamster and cat Wheels

Thank God The Chaser team is back. While I have yet to convince my anti-political satire sister that The Chaser is funny so she could start watching it (we tend to have the same taste where TV programmes are concerned), I am enjoying each and every episode of The Hamster Wheel, particularly – you guessed it – the YouTube cat video montage segment that always seems to end with the same fat Persian who is supposed to be Graham Richardson.
That said, I was horrified to see a video of a two-headed cat while The Chaser boys were saying something about a two-faced person. Wondering if this was a trick, I searched for it on YouTube and lo and behold were videos of the same cat. (Or should that be cats?)
While my sister still does not watch The Chaser, at least she has heard of them. I remember seeing them in Pitt Street Mall signing autographs. My sister wondered what the fuss was about and I told her the guys were from The Chaser. She still didn’t know who they were but figured they must have been important so she grabbed my camera and started taking photos of them. A security guard told her that she had to buy one of their books if she wanted to take photos. My sister ignored him. After all, they were in the middle of the mall, not inside the Angus & Robertson store which was right behind them.
When my best friend Andrea saw the photos, she asked me who the guys were.
“The Chaser,” I said.
“Who?”
Shaking my head, I said, “Don’t worry.”
