For those of who are lazy enough to stomach this, I have discovered an effective way of cleaning dishes.

When you want your dishes cleaned perfectly (provided that there’s no crusty food on them), leave them overnight in the sink long enough for the cockroaches to have a munch. The next day, provided there are cockroaches, you will find clean plates and cutlery. All is then required is a quick rinse under the tap and, hey, presto, clean dishes. I discovered this by accident and it works every time for me!
