The new cat on the Block

The stairs near where I live must be a major feline attraction. First there was the tom cat who liked to hang around there. Then there’s the GTC. Several months ago I spotted two kittens in the bushes beside the stairs. I wanted to make friends with them but they ran away and hid in the bushes. One of my colleague says he has seen a black cat there (Figaro?) and now there’s the tortie.
I spotted her this morning while I was on my way to work. She looked liked the one in the above photo. I stopped and said hello. She was behind the handrail so I couldn’t get close to her but she looked at me with her yellow eyes. I said hello and miaowed at her but got no response apart from her stare.
I hope I get to see her again and maybe we can become friends. Or she could keep the GTC company.
