Spotted in Paddington: a gold plaque with the name of a veterinarian at Paddington Cat Hospital: Melissa Catt. Purr-fect! Coincidentally, this is where HEREButterscotch and Gingersnap get treated. Go, Melissa.
“People do gravitate to professions that are the same as their surnames,” says my colleague. This reminds of me of a book I have called National Lampoon Presents True Facts: the Big Book by John Bendel and Jason Ward. Among the hundreds of funny signs is that of a urologist called Dr Cockburn.
