This is why it’s Hard to Photograph Animals in Motion

January 3rd 2012 21:00

A few weeks before Christmas, I came across a miniature farm while I was out shopping for cat calendars. Amongst the hordes of children were some rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, a rooster, ducklings, piglets, two goats and what appeared to be thirty chicks. Most of the animals were easy to photograph simply because they didn’t move or, if they did, it wasn’t fast enough to cause a blurred effect on the photos I took. But the piglets were a nightmare. The goats were even worse. It took about ten attempts before I could get this one decent photo of them.
