Thought for the Day

I used to work with a bunch of cat haters. Over time, they left one by one. One of the complaints I heard about cats was they don’t play games with people. Now everyone in my team loves cats. Ah, it’s nice to be in the majority.

Then there’s the colleague they have nicknamed Cat Man. He still comes over to chat to me from time to time about…you guessed it, cats!

Today, one of my colleagues told me an interesting story. He said when you throw a ball across the room a dog will run and fetch it for you. But if you do the same thing to a cat, the cat will look at you as if to say, “Are you stupid? Why did you do that? Now you have to walk across the room to get it.”

So to the cat haters who told me cats were boring, take that! Who says you can’t play games with cats? Just check out the photo above.

Clever puss. Just as Butterscotch somehow managed to punch a hole in the bin. He also knows how to push on the cord retrieval button on the vacuum cleaner.
