We Are Family

Unlike me, my sister loves two dollar shops. Call me a snob but I can’t stand cheap, baldy made merchandise.
Then, out of boredom, I decided to accompany her to Daiso, a two dollar shop that had recently opened in Chatswood.
At first glance, I was surprised by how smart the store looked. The glossy black tiles on the floor could have come straight from David Jones.
As usual, I didn’t expect to find anything to buy. As usual, my sister found many things to buy. I decided to wander off into the stationery area while she looked at hair accessories. There, among the many animal figurines, I found these two sweet ginger cat ones. I had to buy them. My sister said the kitten looked happy. They have now joined my other animal figurines that sit on my ledge.
