I used to find the Stuff On My Cat books silly. Maybe it’s because if I’m going to buy a cat book, I want it to contain aesthetic pictures of cats. Pictures of cats doing silly things don’t do me. Maybe because I don’t find most so-called humorous books funny.
But then I discovered their web site. This is another website for those cat lovers out there. A cat in a man’s boxers, a cat under laptop, cats wearing funny hats…they’re all here for you to enjoy. I do find some of the photos posted here of cats pretty funny. What’s more, the photos are constantly updated.
I love the photo on the cover of the Stuff on My Cat journal. The cat looks so intellectual with glasses on its face and a newspaper in front of it. I wonder how hard it was to get the cat into that position. Just think about it: you would have to get the cat to sit up, put the glasses on its face and then try to get it to hold a newspaper. I can’t imagine a cat being willing to sit in such a pose for very long. Or maybe it was done digitally.
I saw the journal at a bookshop yesterday. I can’t wait until I get paid so I can get it. Like many others, I have to stick to a budget.
Looking at the site, I was wondering if there was a doggie equivalent when I found a photo from stuffonmymutt.com.
