Finally: a Photo of Gingersnap

I can be so dense sometimes it’s not funny. I was reading yet another cat book where I came across a paragraph advising against photographing cats with the flash on. Like, der! It then occurred to me then that was probably why Gingersnap was so resistant to being photographed; it wasn’t the camera that bothered him but the bright light coming from it.
Like any scientist, I decided to carry out an experiment. The next time I was alone with Gingersnap, I decided to try and photograph him without the flash on. At first, he was resistant. But when he realised no flash was coming out of the little shiny box in my hand, he let me photograph him, although every now and then he would still close his eyes.
Oh Gingersnap, I am so sorry for hurting your little yellow cat eyes. Please forgive me.
